Healing Means to Make Whole

As a compassionate health practitioner, I bring an integrative approach to healing and wellness. I collaborate with clients to bring about positive physical, mental, emotional, relational, and spiritual change. I draw on elements of mindfulness, embodiment practices, psychotherapy modalities, nervous system regulation, and yoga to help clients move through challenges and realize the truth of who they really are. There are two streams underneath the umbrella of Lisa Mitchell Healing –Relational Somatic Counselling and Yoga.

As I support people I strive to be conscious of the ways systemic oppression affects the health of people and communities. Health and wellness has permeated my life personally and professionally for over thirty years. Learn more about my experience and ongoing journey here.

I acknowledge that I share practices borrowed from cultures that are not my own and that this is a privilege. 

I acknowledge that I am a white cisgender female affording me many privileges. I aspire to wield my privileges in ways that will reduce systemic harm to people of colour, the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and those with different abilities. I wholeheartedly aim to be a deep listener, humble learner, and connector and collaborator with people.
